Wine Industry
With over 20 years experience of operating in the UK Wine Industry, we are able to integrate this experience with our expertise and knowledge of direct marketing, business management and strategic planning.
Trained to Master of Wine level and having passed all the Wine Trade exams, consultant Richard Esling has many years experience of helping small wine producers establish themselves on the UK market.

Budonetto Estate, Sicily
We are currently engaged in two types of activity in this area:
Wine Agency
Through our knowledge and contacts in the UK Wine Industry, combined with Direct Marketing and Strategic Business Development skills, we are uniquely placed to assist small and medium sized wine producers to enter the UK market.

Working primarily with producers in France and Italy. Our clients have benefited from a range of services which we provide, including:
- Direct representation as a UK Sales and Marketing office
- Translation of both on-line and off-line marketing materials
- Negotiations with Wine Importers
- Follow-up of Sales Leads resulting from International Trade Fairs
Vineyard Establishment
Through our international network of experts in viticulture and vinification, we are able to utilise our Project Management skills to oversee the establishment and management of new vineyards in England.
With the complications of a cool climate in the UK, together with climate change factors and an ever-evolving, complex wine consumer market, the options and choices to be made need very careful consideration.
By combining a deep understanding and knowledge of the factors involved in wine-growing and making, with sound business management and marketing principles, we are able to identify and select the most appropriate expert advisers and help the project owner to make the right commercial decisions.
Selection of vine variety, clones, grafting, training, pruning, planting density, orientation, vine height, pest and disease control, vine nourishment, bio-dynamics, all have a profound influence on the quality and quantity of grapes produced. This is on top of a myriad of issues surrounding vineyard site, land orientation, soil types, soil treatment, etc.
By making the correct, informed decisions right from the start, costly mistakes can be avoided and the long-term future for the vineyard maximised.
Below are some examples of past projects relating to this part of our activity:
- Project Name: Wine Importer company acquisition
